Quick gain in exchange for a slow death

Microsoft is in business for themselves and companies should never pin their livelihood to them. The fact that they still do in this day in age is mostly due to short term gain – being bought off. Now all that is coming back to haunt them as they are being commoditized and Apple is feasting on the remains. However times are a changing, Motorola might finally be ditching Windows Mobile. But even then they can’t officially say anything or irk the Microsoft beast.

Motorola denies it and says they will continue to support Windows Mobile and will have devices out this year.
